Once in a Blue Moon

I still have too much to do but I want to show you what I've been knitting lately.
- En vest på en weekend (from Hendes Verden, yarn Easy from Sandnes)
- Garter Yoke Cardi (yarn Heaven's Hand)
- Andrea Shawl (yarn from Sannsticks)
- Wooly Hat (pattern from Sticka mera småvarmt)

My Weddingshawl has been to a real wedding!

I felt so honoured when my colleague Ingrid asked me if she could borrow my shawl to see if it could be used at her eldest daughter's wedding. Obviously it could! Here is the happy couple - Helena and Mattias.

View from the top

Here's a view from the top of my house, on the balcony. I've knitted a shawl again, this time rather from a "recipe" than a pattern. It's the textured shawl by Orlane. The yarn came straight from the sheep and the smell of wool was strong. I like that!

Här står jag med min nya struktur-sjal på balkongen. Den är stickad av ett garn som nog kom direkt från fåret för ull-lukten var stark och härlig! Nu är den dock tvättad och blockad.

The Leftover Shawl

I crocheted a shawl with leftovers but hadn’t enough yarn, so I had to buy some more…
One of my daughters liked the shawl though, and brought it home.

Jag virkade en sjal i restgarner, men garnet tog slut slut så jag var tvungen att köpa mer...
Dottern J gillade sjalen och tog med den hem till sig!

Finished!

Something new on the blog at last! I've finished my white shawl with pattern from Land magazine. I've made a hundred mistakes, but I love it. I should have had it 33 years ago when I got married........

Tee-tee yarn is yum-yum yarn!

Nu äntligen blir det lite nytt på bloggen. Jag har stickat färdigt Land-sjalen. Under resans gång har jag gjort många fel, men trots det är den ljuvlig och jag älskar den- en riktig bröllopssjal!

Tee-teegarnet är ett gosegarn!

Clapotis

Stickad sjal i Malabrigo Lace.

Exciting knit with the lovely yarn Malabrigo Lace, but one skein wasn’t enough and I couldn’t get hold of any in Sweden, so I finished it with a corner of another colour……
